There are many reasons for female hair loss; they derive from natural seasonal recovery to internal disorder. These are the most common: after childbirth or while breastfeeding; sometimes hair falls due to seasonal renewal, usually in the fall; because of certain medications; hereditary loss; as a consequence of hair treatment (drying, coloring and frequent hair wash); diet and improper food; lack of vitamins and stress.
There are a lot of medical solutions for preventing hair loss, depending on the type of hair loss you have (androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium and alopecia areata). But, there is not a medication that can cure hair loss, but with long and daily use they can prevent or slow down hair loss. It is always recommended first to go to a doctor and he will recommend the right treatment for you.
But, there are a few ways that you can try yourself to prevent hair loss and strengthen your hair by the natural way.
Hair needs nutrients
Can rigorous diets ruin your hair? In extreme cases. Your hair needs protein and iron to stay healthy, along with omega-3 fatty acids, zinc and vitamin A, but not too much. Low-fat diets are deficient in nutrients and can slow hair growth.
Healthy diet for hair
Keep your hair healthy by eating salmon and walnuts for omega-3 fatty acids, spinach and carrots for vitamin A, Brazilian nuts for selenium, zinc and Indian nuts. All of these products keep not only the hair, but also your heart healthy, so that duplicates the effects for the sake of your health.
Frequent hair treatments weaken your hair
Drying with a hair dryer, ironing, coloring, using hydrogen and even frequent brushing can damage hair, i.e. the outer layer or cuticle of the hair. When you damage the cuticle, your hair looks dry, fragile and old. It is hard to restore the original condition of the hair; cutting the damaged part it is your only option.
Scalp massage is sometimes very good
There is no evidence that scalp massage will slow down the process of hair loss, but it can do wonders in terms of relief from stress. The scalp is covered with numerous nerve endings that make it super-sensitive to touch. Scalp massage releases tension in your body. Massage can also cause the secretion of hormones, such as serotonin and dopamine that will make you feel good.
Also there are a lot of “grandmother” remedies that help prevent hair loss. For example one spoon castor oil, one spoon almond oil, one spoon panthenol solution, one egg yolk and a few drops of lemon juice. Mix them all together and apply to the roots of the hair. Another example is to put nettles in water and boil them. After that take out the nettles and wash your hair with the water after shampooing.
